I believe relationships are the key to success, especially when it comes to personal struggles. Family Education Coaching needs to be open, honest and relatable and I believe this is best done in person.
However, finding the time to meet in person can be challenging for many people and families so remote coaching will always be a possibility.
I studied for a degree in Sports Management at the University of Plymouth and then completed a Post Graduate Certification in Education (PGCE) at the University College of St Mark and St John (MARJON), Plymouth. I gained my Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) working in my first school in Exeter city centre.I have a National Professional Qualification for Leading Teaching (NPQLT). This is a qualification designed for experienced teachers and equips them to effectively lead teaching within their schools.
I am based in Exeter, Devon. I travel 30 minutes from my base at no extra cost. Mileage costs are included in all journeys. To offer a wider service for families, I will travel further but journeys that exceed 30 minutes will require additional time expenses. For more information, see the bottom of 'Coaching Packages'.
